6 Horror Games for Spooky Season
Hello, hello! I’ve complied a list of horror games I’m super excited for this fall season!! I’m a big horror lover and newbie gamer, so this was a lot much fun to make🧡🦇✨
*All games are available on Steam
The Skin Stapler | $14.99
The Skin Stapler is a retro-styled PSX grindhouse horror adventure set in the rotting, crime-soaked sprawl of Carrion City. Players follow jaded detective Dick Slater and his eager rookie partner Robbie Knox as they hunt a mysterious serial killer known only as The Skin Stapler.
— I watched this recently and absolutely loved it!!! So much fun, great story and gameplay. I can’t wait to play it myself! 🧡
Halloween: The Game | $39.99
On Halloween night, 1978, no one is safe from Michael Myers. Become the Boogeyman or fight back against the face of evil itself in Halloween.
— My friends adore this game! Even though I’m more of a Dead By Daylight girl, it looks very cool.
Backseat | $8.99
A psychological taxi horror game where every passenger may be dangerous. Drive through the night, question criminals, read their behavior, hack for clues, and survive each ride to save your kidnapped wife.
— Psychological horror is top tier in my opinion, so I’m super excited!!
Animaly Bar: NO HUMANITY | $4.99
Run your bar as a gorilla and hunt down the humans in animal costumes hiding among your customers. Observe them closely, spot the clues that give their disguises away, test their slogans, and blow the imposters away with your shotgun. Choose your targets wisely... or become the hunted.
— Another fun concept, I watched the demo and really liked it, so I got it myself!
The Plant Shop | $4.99
A cozy horror game where you craft plants for late-night customers while you manage a small plant shop. Expand your plant collection, upgrade your shop & grow your business.
— I might not have a green thumb (YET) — but this one looks really cute!
Lily’s World | $11.99
Lily was an ordinary teenager in 2004, and you just found her laptop. Read her diary, message her friends, and piece together what happened to her before it’s too late. But you're not the only one with access to her computer… A fourth wall-breaking psychological horror experience featuring Lily Pichu
— I’m absolutely obsessed with the y2k aesthetic and the storyline sounds so intriguing.
Thank you for reading!!
xoxo,
